⏰ The camp takes place July 21 - 25th 2025, 8:30am - 4pm each day. We start at 9:00 AM, but if you need an earlier drop-off, we're available from 8:30 AM.
🥗 Lunch and snacks are included — all plant-based!
🎁 Every day, your child will create a handmade gift for the family. At the end of the camp, they'll bring home a self-crafted bag full of surprises!

Looking for a meaningful and memorable summer experience for your child? Sign them up for our amazing Journey of Joy Summer Camp at the SLC Krishna Temple! The camp takes place July 21 - 25th 2025, 8:30am - 4pm each day.
This camp is like no other: Your child will be able to strengthen their connection to themselves, others and the environment. They will also get to meet our llamas and become a llama caretaker for a day. They will get to experience many different ways that spark joy, not only this summer but for their whole life! Our Activities will include:
Community Building & Collaboration
A variety intentional games and experiential activities for increased confidence and communication
Develop the Power of their Mind through Mindfulness, Meditation, and Extrasensory Perception & Emotional Regulation Techniques
Daily Kirtan (Joyful chanting, dancing and/or playing Instruments)
Nature Arts and Crafts, like Nature Mandalas, and many gifts to take home like cloth dyeing with Kitchen Scraps, Making a Llama wool Loofah, make your own seasoning mix with herbs from the garden, and much much more
Healthy & Delicious Vegetarian Food Cooking Classes, indoors in the kitchen and outdoors on a fire
Learning about ancient Vedic traditions
Meeting our llamas and become a Llama caretaker for a day - participants get to meet, feed and brush the llamas.
Gardening time and meaningful Service Learning Project in our Permaculture Garden
Communication and Leadership skills: Participants plan a party for the last day.
Journey along the Circle of Courage, strengthening the sense of Belonging, Mastery, Independence, Generosity to develop Lifelong Joy!
Learn and practice how to become a kind, courageous, and confident individual, leader, and peacemaker in your communities.
*This Summer Camp is taught by Holistic Healing Practitioners and Experiential Educators, with decades of educational experience.
Our general daily schedule looks as follows:8:30 am - 9am: Drop off & Icebreaker Activities 9am - 10:20pm: Morning Block 1 - Community Games, Llama & Garden Time 10:20 - 10:35am Snack Break 10:40 - 12:00 pm: Morning Block 2 - Mindfulness, Cooking Class 12:30pm - 1pm LUNCH 1pm - 2:15 pm Afternoon Block 1 - Arts & Crafts, Vedic Traditions & Stories 2:15pm-2:30pm Break 2:30pm- 3:45 pm Afternoon Block 2 - Games, Kirtan, LLamas 4pm Pick up
Participation Cost is only $299 for the whole week and includes all materials, a vegetarian lunch and snacks. A vegetarian lunch and snacks are provided.
