Hush now, the world is breathing slow,
The stars lean down in silver glow,
Your thoughts can rest, your heart can float,
Like moonlight drifting on a boat.

In… and out… the darkness hums,
A gentle tide, a velvet drum,
Every cell says, you are safe,
Every worry loosens shape.

Lay your dreams upon the sky,
Let them turn to clouds and fly,
Tomorrow waits, bright and kind--
Tonight is only peace of mind.

Sleep, dear soul, the night is wide,
With quiet love on every side,
I’ll keep the watch till morning’s near…
